Default ITB's

What is a good individual throttle body company, or would you guys even go with ITB's and just run a nice intake manifold with a nice throttle body?

I always wanted to say this "SEARCH OWNS YOU" ,

but anyways toda and twm make a really good setup. On the other hand there are a couple really good IM and TB setups that will flow the same...

I run ITB (twm) and yes, they are a pain in the *** fo sho..but once tuned properly they are bad ***. for street car...dont do it. for a full race car, not bad, but like someone else said..you can make lots of power on TB as well without spending lots of $$$$$$$ for itb's

Throw on a JG Sheet Metal (not Edelbrock) or RLZ Intake Manifold with a 68mm TB and you'll have this area taken care of.

These manifolds will hit like vtec. No kidding.

ITBs aren't for everyone. If you can't afford it, don't knock it. Do what you want to do. But like others said, a larger intake manifold and throttle body setup will do.

the only reason i would go with itb's would be response (road racing) or bling factor/sexy sound

Incidently, I'm also considering getting a set of used TMW ITB. I don't really care about the bling factor, since my crx looks like a pos anyhow. Cost, imo, isn't really a major factor, since a used set of TWM's is around $1300, so it's not really that much more $ than purchasing a set of hi-po IM, TB, high-flow injectors, FPR, etc.

I am concerned with the power gain though and the 'difficult to drive' aspect. Some of you guys mention that a IM, and TB would suffice for the performance, but are the power gains substantially lower, or neglible compared to ITB's? Have there any been dynos to support that ITB's are better in any way? With the difficult driving, does this make the car diff to drive in auto-X and RR in any way?
I did try to do a search, but no luck. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
