-cutom, compressor on passenger side
DP
-custom, 2" turbine outlet, 2" wastegate dump (currently near x-member, being moved to out driverside bumper)
turbo
-greddy T25

1991 Civic Si
XSI B16a, 90-91 LS tranny, 15 PSI (232/180 at the wheels, very sickly turbo )

Ran with this setup:
Z-Dyne Gold Programmable SECU 550cc Venom Eclipse GS-T injectors
FMax manifold, T3/T4 Garrett turbo, 46 trim, 50a/r compressor with a .48 exhaust side. (SMALL t3/t4)
Custom downpipe that was probably about 2" tubing off the turbo. (SUCKED!)
Turbonetics Deltagate dumped directly into tiny downpipe. (BAD for flow)
3" downpipe-back Thermal R&D exhaust. (Sounds friggin awesome with turbo)
ITR cams (untuned)
ITR intake manifold
64mm JG throttlebody
Spearco Water/air intercooler

185/65/14 "Premium Performance" **** tires on 96 LX steelies. (NO traction) 13.8@102 and the turbo died at the top of third, about 1000' out.

She had A LOT more in her, for sure.

Since then, I've ditched/upgraded a slew of parts.

JimFab bars, 205/50/15 Drag Radials, Precision SC34 turbo, InLinePro manifold, Tial 35mm wastegate run open dump, 3" downpipe, Tokico front shocks, HaSport Race eurethan rear motor mount.

Hoping for 12's on street tires, 11's on slicks.

I'm on the ghetto/cheapie side of the page.

1991 CRX Si

Jackson Supercharger.

9 Lbs Boost.

Stock 'PM6 ECU

Stock CRX Si Injectors

K&N Drop-in Air Filter

Kami Header - Stock Cat/Mid Pipe - Dynomax Muffler

Ignition retarded about 6 degrees.

NGK 7 Series plugs

Rising-Rate Fuel Regulator

Boost Timing Control taking out just over 1 degree per Lb.

MSD RPM Switch for VTEC control set @ 4300, I want to try out lowering it some.

No track times.

Never on a Dyno, but I'd love to find out the actuall #s. (No mods, just find out what it's got)

I am definately not getting the most out of this setup, but it's dependable, and pretty damn strong, as shown in the sig below.

(Installed the Y8 because of the low mileage/VERY low price, my old A6 w/278,000 miles on it is sitting in the garage in excellent shape, ready to be reinstalled at any time)

I would love a Zdyne though. (Have DSM 450s sitting in the toolbox waiting for the day I spend the $$$$)

If you are going to boost your car getto style like me, remove some timing and add lots of fuel at first, then make small adjustments untill you find the threshold, then add a little safety margin.

I too did a complete custom setup. (a.k.a. Ghetto)

- D16A6
- 450cc DSM blue top injectors
- Ghettodyne'd PM6 ECU. (creating my own boost routines is in the works)
- HF manifold with adaptor plate
- Mitsubishi Te04 turbo (from daytona/lancer/any dodge 2.5L turbo 89-94)
-Custom 2.5 Mandrel downpipe
- Talon G2 BOV (surprisingly loud for a Bosch plastic valve)
- 10 PSI

Getting about 170 whp. Best E.T. so far was a 14.7 @ 98 MPH. Fell asleep at the light... 1.200 reaction. It'll hit 2.0, and 1.95 60 ft's on slicks though.

Hope that helps.

Don't forget those 900cc injectors....

I'm running a turbo B18A in a CRX. Built w/ a DRAG III kit, and using Zdyne for tuning. The boost is set to a comfortable 5~6psi for piddling around, and 20psi for those pesky motorcycles that won't die.

Dunno, what ever the turbo is capable at that amount of boost. Prolly in the neighborhood of 375whp.

DOHC ZC

Greddy Turbo kit "92-95 Civic kit", Zdyne Gold SECU, DSM 450cc injectors, 7 pounds, DSM SMIC

I hate the DSM injectors, the car has problems starting when engine is warm. And the car stinks of gas now "probabaly from injectors"

Mine is none too impressive.

*DOHC ZC
*Greddy SOHC Trubo Kit.
*Hacked up mandrel bend charge pipes.
*Conquest Intercooler with pipes moved to the ends.
*Vortech 12:1:1 FMU
*Walbro 255 pump
*Boost Valve Controller
*Stock injectors

I'm running around 7-8psi.

The car has not be tuned at all because there is really not much to tune right now.

I would guess its making around 165hp, but I really have no idea.

My best mph so far has been 100mph, best 1/4mile was 14.0. The car spins and hops very badly. There is no doubt that it would run 13s if I could get it off the line. Most of my 60fts are around 2.3-2.4s.
