I want to know how the hell one can keep the steering steady enough on that thing when it's going that fast. You know those little folding aluminum scooters that were all the rage awhile back, the wheels were so small that it made steering very twitchy even at walking speed. I couldn't imagine that scooter at 100+ mph

it is real. Nitrous powered scooters are just a big a hobby like those little minature motorcylces. A low center of gravity from the baseboard and the wheels keeps it balanced pretty well. From what I've heard when you are going that fast, it's easy to balance, you just have to hold still.

I'm going to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. I do think there are some editing flaws in there that make it questionable. I really dont think the scooter won since the angle and distance of the race you cant tell, then an obvious editing cut would be to show the scooter coasting to a stop for a lack of brakes when the trans am would've slowed down in 1/2 the distance.
