Everything has gone alone fine until I got to the thermostat housing, I got the top nut off but cannot get the bottom of. Here is the picture of what I am talking about:

I did what they mention and remove the top part of the air box, but that only along enough space for the top nut but the bottom nut is ....... a PAIN IN THE ***.

I cannot remove the bottom nut. Only way I can get to it is use a long extension for the ratchet but then the 10mm socket won't fit entirely over it. I don't want to try and remove it like thus, which is going to strip the nut.

Any tips or help on how to remove that lower nut??? I was rolling along until I got stuck there......

 

I think I had to use a regular wrench, but I can't remember for sure. Take off the whole intake including the intake pipe.

 

I just took a look, but I'm not sure if that will work. Part of the dam starter and some other wire is in the way....

 

deepsocket, swivel, then extensions are your friend. very easy.

Gearatchets are your friend; otherwise it'll take you forever.

 

I'm going to try a deep socket tomorrow and see what happens. If not, i'm just going to put everything back together and take it to the dam shop, local shop said they will charge $35...........I'm kinda pissed because it's just that ONE NUT and off it goes and ready for me to put the new one in .

*After looking over the top nut, I think I'm going to need a new one. Kind of rounded off the tip........ , off to the Acura STEALERSHIP and see how much they charge for one of these. Last time I was there to pick up a VALVE COVER GROMMET, they freaking ROBBED ME at $6 a POP!!!*
