ABS piping question
I'm installing an ITR ABS system on my car and I'm trying to figure how how to correctly install the piece that kind of looks like a proportional valve but I think it is just a pipe union. There is no crossover inside, correct? Just hook up the left and right side lines from the ABS modulator to this and then connect this to the tubing that runs to the rear brakes?
It looks like this-

Thats just a union between the front and rear lines. Its doesn't 'proportion' anything. Just use one from an EX that came with ABS. It bolts right to the firewall. You will have to modify one of the brake lines slightly and re-flare it but thats pretty simple.
You could also try to fab some sort of bracket to mount it to the firewall. Go to Home Depot and get some 1" flat aluminum bar stock. Its great for making brackets and what not.
P.S. Talk to the guys at Import Auto Salvage about the wiring. They should be able to help you out if you're real nice to them and talk them through exactly what you need. I might have a 92-95 civic plastic gauge cover for you somewhere. I'll look around.
