correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the head of the k20a3 different from that of the k20a2... so the cams would not fit. if i'm wrong, someone please correct me.

A2 cams have 3 lobes, A3 Intake cam has 2 lobes and the exhaust cam has 1 lobe

Unless your only talking about the bare head, but all the internals are different

They absolutely will not work in the US EP. The rocker assemblies are very different. Wait for Skunk2 to come out with their A3 cams.

This is an educated guess but there are probably some differences in the oil ports on the exhaust side of the head so the rocker assemblies won't work when transplanted eiher.

Hmmm, I guess the REAL question is:

theoretically, could a person with an A3 take the INTAKE cam from an A2 and, though they would not be using the 3rd lobe, see any benefit from using the first two lobes of the A2 INTAKE cam in thier A3 head? add to that the ability to adjust the vtec engagement point to anywhere along the powerband.

My guess is (if the lobes matched up at all) there could be a slight shift in the peak of the powerband but not a significant gain.
