Seats
I just got seats, and I can't figure out how to install them. They came sliders, but we need pieces from the old seats and we can't get them off. Can someone please help me. We are doing it right now.

I don't see how they could be stuck to your old seats.
The new seats just came with sliders, no brackets to bolt them into the car. I was wondering if there was some way to use the stuff from the stock seat to install them.

Like sliders.
They are the universal type I think. Just like these:

You dont want to buy cheap brackets, they could break, and you could be a rag doll in a tin can. You should be able to seperate the sliders from the rails. Or even try bolting the seat directly to the stock slider, it may fit. Otherwise, dont skimp on cheap sliders.

I'm in Texas.
Just cuz they aren't real Recaros doesn't mean that they are cheap. Why are there so many jackasses on this board? You are one of them. I can't use the stock sliders, and the stock ones won't come apart.

Im not being a jackass, Im just being truthful. Your seat and seat belt work together to keep your *** planted in a wreck. If you degrade one of the two you ruin the system, and you most likely did, so theres no reason to buy strong rails. I bet money your seat doesnt have a double locking mechanism, which can allow your seat to flex, your body to bend back, and let the seat belt wrap around your neck.

The more expensive seats will that, yes. Yours most likely do not, simply because it costs more money to make them that way, knock off companys usually make theyre products cheaply to make more profit while still selling for lower. Im not rippin on you, or the seats, Im just sayin...

Yea I had the same problem with my seats. I bought Tenzo brackets and modified the actual slider on the seats. Then I drilled holes in the Tenzo brackets and they are really strong. If I get a chance to take pictures I will. I ordered the Tenzo brackets from StylinConcepts (1-800-586-9713) , and I believe that ARD performance has Tenzo brackets also.
