what does it mean to weight you sub box?
how is it done?

 

Are you sure someone didn't mean that they weighed their box?

 

I've been in this industry for 10 years and never heard that before. I bet they are referring to installing poly-fill in the enclosure. This tricks the sub into thinking it's in a bigger enclosure. Don't fill it just line the walls of the box with it.

 

no i found the answer it found mostly in home audio to get rid of unwanted viberations "wieghted" is what i meant

 

So in other words, sound deadening...
