I tried searching for info on this... I know people have done it, I figured it would be a nice 'upgrade' while saving for the DC5-R K20A.
Does anyone have any links to info on this, or experiences to share about this?
How much is involved? Swap the heads, switch ecu's...etc. ?
Would this swap cause any problems to the weaker Si bottom end?
thx for any info.

first of all good luck finding the head...second...i think one mag did it and as did
aj-racing did it..but i do not see the specs on the site...you can email which i did, but didn't get a whole lot of info...how about find one for me and i will let you know what happens...and as far as the bottom end...a prb head was put onto a k24 block and it is reving just fine...and it is not like that block was setup for those rev's stock

it can be done, my friend lee has done it on his already with a tranny swap. he saved ALOT of money since one of his buddys who bought a type-r motor sold him the head for like 500! Its not hard at all. The bottom end can take it too. the type s block just has a few more oil squirts to help with the higher revs, but a good aftermarket oil cooler would take care of the heat as well.
all in all i am doing it as soon as i can find a legit head from a K20A2 and ECU for cheap.
