Default beaks kit help pls ?



yes i have searched, 79 results on 3 pages, didn t have what i was looking for mainly ek, i have a dc/eg kit for a dc.

ok in pix nbr 2 would that how u install the beaks kit diretly on the sub frame or will it be pix nbr 3, with one of the gold plates in front of the frame, and the other plate behind it?

damn this kit is a bitch to install, the nuts are a pain to get out..anyone have a trick? i tried knocking them out while the bolt is still on
it..

when you get it on you might want to check to see if the sway bar hits the abs brackets on the lca...mine did.

the welded nutz are a three step attack...there are 4 tack welds for each nut

1. thread old bolt in half way...smack it with a hammer

2. hit nut with chisel/screwdriver

3. drill hole to finish off the last tack weld

works like a charm

hahaha i was helping egmee do that yesterday. one of the tack welds didnt wanna come off and i smacked it hella hard and it kinda tore the hole a bit. lol. had to stop all the banging cuz my neighborhood is one of those "commitee policed" places and didnt wanna get written up for noise. damn committees. damn tack welds fat ITR sway?

After using the above tactics on one side with only bad results, I took both LCA's all the way off and cut the tack welds with a dremel tool from the inside using a cutoff wheel and very steady hands. Then they practically fell off. Then I sanded any remaining weld off so the plates would sit perfectly flush.

it works wonders, just kinda tears a little
finished the install took about 3-4 hours with only me., pls remember to grease the bushings i forgot and it sqeaks like a little monkey i ll get to it later
