what is the service interval of rad hoses?

I switch mine out every 50k. But i like to play it safe. If it is squishy, craked, dry rotting, fading, leaking, any of those or similiar it a good idea to switch it for saftey reason's. Check a helm's guide or call a dealer they'll tell ya right off at no cost.

The ones on my teg went 150k before they started getting swollen. I'd say just replace them when you notice the hose expands under pressure.

Thanks for the replies. I only have 60K miles on the car but i thought i will play it safe by changing them out since i am doing the water pump and timing belt anyways. But i will take a closer look at it tonight and go from there.
