what is the best price/value/performance cams and gears for 97 gs-r? I'm looking for cams and gears that don't require many other mods or extensive tuning. I'm not worried about super high rpm increases either because i don't want to change out the lower end, just the cams and gears. I just want some good extra horsepower to the wheels without breaking the bank. Also, do the cams give you noticeable torque increases in the low to mid range? So if anyone knows a good combo to use, i'm listening.

 

toda a's with toda cam gears. only thing with any cams and cam gears is that tuning is essential for peak power. most of the cams will give you a big gain in the higher end and a few hp's in the lower end. good luck
