found this on ebay. heard of it..module thing, like chip
Don't waste your money.
Since when did 'chipping' your stock ECU make any more power? Even with an I/H/E'd A6 motor, the stock PM6 ECU doesn't have much room for improvement. Even if this 'G-Box' does do what it says it does (modify sensor readings, but which ones? and how exactly? not enough info there...), the max you could increase would be like 4HP, if that.
Perhaps if they took the time to say EXACTLY what the unit does, and HOW it does it, then I might be interested. Otherwise, how do you really know what you're buying?
Sorry, I'm not trying to be an ***, I'm just trying to give you a reasonable argument against buying into BS...

I'm guessing it;s like the temp sensor mod. People put a variable resistor on the engine temp sensor. Tricks the ecu into thinking the engine is still cold, thus giving it more fuel
Also one of the feedbacks says it just an IAT resistor. This guy must be making a lot of money selling cheap resistors in a fancy box.
I wouldn't mess with it

I just emailed the seller asking for details of his HP #'s. It says the results were from a CRX but doesn't say anything else (year, model, mods). I asked for a dyno sheet. Also asked what does the unit connect to.
I doubt I'll get a response

I posted this one on October 8th, It is a different one of the same idea. I e-mailed the guy that was selling the one I posted a question about and he still has not e-mailed me back. I asked him about all of the details of his product as someone said above. I think I scared him when I mentioned the market inflating HP gains. My guess is it is a load of bull.

You need to get Dyno Tuned and have it tuned with an experienced chip burner. Anyone who knows anything about E-PROMS, knows that a "BEST GUESS" ECU is not worth the money.
btw... that chip aint gonna do a thing for you

Hey I got a response, a quick one too. Too bad it was vague and didn't answer any of my questions. What a surprise
