im really getting frustrated about this damn race car..nothing goin my way...EVER

should i try to sell the body and stick my setup(as in engine,turbo,everything to makethedamn thing run) in a street car? completly sell out??? or stick in it???


what do ya think i could get for it??i have around 50,000 into this. and im not far from being done..just that certain things are not coming in(front suspension)

Stay with it, u've gone this far there shouldn't be a thought of turning back now. I had some setbacks myself and really wanted to make it for some of this season but **** doesn't always go your way but i'll be ready next season. Stay in it, the awards at the end will pay off!

its frustrating wanting to get something done and just when ya think it could happen..it dont..

ive had this thing sitting in my garage since about march/april and nothing has been done to it..

been building for about 2.5 years.its getting really old and way out of my league. much to expensive for "my average joe self"

 

For sure stay with it man. This will be my second time around I was really stupid with the first one and IM not giving up for anything. I know weve had some nasty hickups but you should finish it to spite the doubters......-pete

 

id really spite some doubters if i drove my "setup" in a street car everyday..

hot rod class is soooooo gettin out of my league..2years ago when i started the project it wasnt so far fetched, but now its really getting crazy...sequential trans... bad *** to say the least but out of my league. (for now) im so broke its not even funny.

i sold my street car to try and have this thing running in a month but now that i started buying more parts i dunno if its gonna be possible.

maybe i should stop bitching about it. oh well. im just not to happy with what has been happening during the whole project build...ripped off, **** on, you name it. if i dont have bad luck idunno who does.

 

I know your feeling some can vouch for some of the things that have happened to me in the past. I know what your saying the class is getting alittle too far for the average guy to stay competitive. But you gotta remember what you built the car for. To go fast. -pdang

deckplate engine.
wet sump oil system
28 inch slicks
spindle mount skinny's
these wheels and tires alone cost me 2020

im sure that everything can be sold. this way you can at least get some money back

 

hard to find buyers for some of this stuff..its not everyday that someone wants to be the next John force.

im just a "*****" sometimes i guess. this **** gets me upset.

..2.5years in the making..thinking its all gonna come together and than something else goes wrong...maybe i should get used to "life as we know it" nothing ever goes as planned.

In regard to the parts, there is a potential buyer for everything. Just look at ebay

if i was you, i would keep on going, get the car finished and race a few times, i would bet you could then get a bigtime sponsor that sees that you are dedicated and have tons of potential... then you could make your car competitive... dont let 2.5 years of hardwork and all of the troubles you have gone through go to waste!
