pictures, broken pressure plate and messed up flywheel and crank.
i was racing down the track and noticed the oil pressure light on,
after i installed a new oil pump today and started the motor, a lound knocking noise was heard. i thought that there might be caused by piston slap since i checked all the bearings and they were ok. took out the starter and looked through, saw some broken straps on the pressure plate
also noticed that the flywheel cam loose again, im thinking this happend cause the pressure plate broke, i did torque the pressrue plate bolts and flywheel bolts with loctite also,
notice how the flywheel welded itself to the crank

Holy **** the same thing happened to me ,the pressure plate fell apart at the rivets , twice within a week!! What is causing this? Engine vibration?
BTW: it started doing this after i installed my ctr n1 pulley.

hey .... you might want to pull everthing down and rebuild plus rebalance everything... reinstalling new parts will yield even more problem.. just some advice..

damn, the very exact same thing happen to my flywheel when it fell off, i was unable to put a new crank in so i went and bought a special tap and just retapped the crank and got new flywheel bolts and just bolted that **** back togather with a **** load of lock tight, i know that i shouldn't have done that, but it ran just fine for 6 months after. even when i pulled it out to put my new motor in it was still all togather just fine. i guess i lucked out because it din't ruin my clutch at all. if theres anything wrong with the threads and you just want to retap it for a tempory soulution IM me and i will send you the tap. i had to specail order it so i figure if you want to do that it could save you like $50.
