Default Buddy Club wheels?

Does anyone have any experience with buddy club wheels? Right now I'm running rotas but I'm wanting to move on to something else (bent 1, cracked another.....). Unfortunately, I can't find any info about them. The only place I can find that sells them hasn't called or emailed me back to answer my questions. I'm assuming these are cast, as you don't find too many $150 forged wheels. However, my main concern is width. Does anyone know if these are 15x6.5 or 15x7? If they are 15x7 (I could have sworn I'd seen that they were before but I don't know if it's just wishful thinking or not), then will the extra .5" outweight the .5 lb. weight difference over the rotas? It seems like I shouldn't have a huge difference from that small an increase in rotational mass but..... They'll be used for daily driving & auto-x so any help would be very appreciated...

Oh yeah, one more thing, I keep seeing them associated with the word "strong" and that's obviously important. Anybody got any info or real world experience with that aspect either?

Buddy Club P1 Racing come in 15x5.5 and 15x7. The QFs come in 15x6.5 and 15x7.

The P1s, IIRC are cast. The QFs are forged. And if you want 15x7 "Buddy Club" cast wheels, why not just get Kosei K1s from Tire Rack?

Don't know if the extra .5 in width is worth it to you. Running Azenis? It's worth it then. Any other 205/50 or wider 15" tire? Probably.

Can't help ya with any relative strength information. Good luck.

Mainly because I can get the buddy clubs cheaper than the kosei. Same rim, same manufacturer, right?

Oh yeah, thanks for letting me know about the QF...

I thought the Kosei's through Tirerack were available only in one offset now, and it wasn't the most desirable one. Someone who knows more about that situation chime in here.

Edit - Nevermind. It seems that both offsets are still being made and available through the Tire Rack. At least, that's what 1GreyTeg posted in the ITR forums.

yea, bk is the same as kosi. they crack just as easily as i have had to repare a bk p1. if u can get them cheaper, than i guess its the way to go.
as for size, 15x7 is where its at as far as 15"wheels. i compared a stock 15" honda steel to a team dynamics, both witht he same tire and the tire on the team dynamics (15x7) looks about an inch wider than the tire ont he honda steel (15x5 or 15x6) i doubt you would notice the extra roaational mass, but u may notice a touch more grip from the wider wheel putting more tire down.
*this is all relevant if using a 205

They have them up at groupbuycenter for 500 shipped for all 4. i emailed them and they said it was 15x6.5 if it were 7 i would get htem off the bat.

unfortunately, kosei stopped making the 'anthracite' color rim. while buddy club still has their gunmetal

though this thread is probably more about function thatn appearence

I also need some rims for my ITA celica. I need 14x8 and 5x100. Can anyone put some links up to some rime sites that might have anything close to this.

Not to get OT...

...but unless the IT rules have changed very recently, you can't go wider than 7" in both ITS & ITA. You'll have to go 14x7. There's a thread in this forum about 14x6/7 it has some links that may apply also to 5x100.
