290 Prelude Injectors on B16 (or LsVtec)
What do you guys think about Prelude 290 injectors on a stock B16 with a standard PR3 ecu? What about on an LsVtec? Will it run too rich?

what a statement...haha..absolutely amazing

But why? And prelude injectors flow at 345. And why in the world would you want to swap out your stock b16 injectors if your not making a gang load of power? Search is your friend.

92-96 Preludes are Peak & Hold 345cc
97+ are saturated 290's.
Just out of curiostiy though if you have a stock B16A and stock ECU with no tuning device, what would possess you to want to put prelude injectors in there?
I'm more thinking for my LsVtec, but I figured since I was going to the dyno I'd want to have something to change, but I dunno, they might take 45 mins to change anyway.
Did you say the peak and hold ones are 345s?
Cause i think I have the P & H ones.
I have the ones that'll work on the stock injection system on a 90 crx (which I believe is peak and hold.)

Yeah you def. have the 345's. The later of the two are for OBDII cars. I would deffenetly not put those in your B16A or LS/VTEC unless you are 11.5:1 plus and Stage 2 cam and up and having full tuning capabilites.
they are definitely too big to be run on the stock PR3 ecu...
what about when I convert to Hondata, they should be good then?
Goddamm Obd-1, I get all pissy just thinking about it.

I was always told stock 5.0's are fast...
that doesn't make it true.

92-96 Prelude VTEC Peak and Hold (Resistor Box) Injectors are 330cc, after cleaning and flow testing at RC they get up to 340-345cc
97-01 Prelude Saturated (no box) injectors are 290cc, and they probably flow a little better after cleaning and testing at RC as well.

very true, I have a email to prove it from RC, lol

What kind of modification do I need to do to put these in my ITR manifold? The injectors are physically too big and I didn't want to start drilling. Should I modify the manifold or the grommety things.
Also, will my car just simply run wayyyy to rich on these (with stock FP and ECU), like seeping past the rings rich?
