Lookin at another GSR...
I hate to keep making posts like these, but I found a 97' GSR w/ 117k miles, the guy is selling it for 7,500. Its got cloth interior, he is the original owner, basically it was his commute car, so basically highway miles. My main concern is, the mileage, I do want to maybe do some internal work, nothing wild but you know like its cams, upgraded valve train and such, is this something that i could do with a motor with this amount of mileage?
sure, you as long as you keep the modifications mild such as cams, the engine shouldn't give you any trouble. I personally haven't done anything aside from intake header and exhaust on my 92 integra gs-r but i have a friend that bought a 92 integra ls and he turboed it with 160k on it and he hasn't had problems to my knowledge

wow u have ***** to get another teg...good luck..this time get a sick alarm & removable hub steering wheel..autolock..everything to keep ur car from getting stolen..
whenever i do get another teg, its going to be parked in my garage every night with an alarm armed. I'm thinkin about gettin a LS, do you guys know how much cheaper insurance is on a LS opposed to a GSR?
insurance..whoa..the LS is way cheaper!!! just ask the insurance agent what the point value is of the car..for example my 97 gsr is symbol 22..which is considered a high end sports car..which by the way sucks...my dads 02 vette is almost the same symbol
get a gsr
and if this car is compression tested and the numbers come out steady across the board then its a good buy. remember, honda's are just getting broken in at 100k. just make sure it was taken care of and all that **** and you will have yourself another gsr.

Yea i definetly think i'm going to go with a gsr again, I was just looking at the possibility of an LS because of the insurance, but I don't know that i'd be satisfied with an LS after having my GSR, because i don't really plan to do any sort of FI anytime soon.
