Default Super T dyno 695whp 679tq 2jzgte + pics

I finally got the dyno graphs hosted up. Completely stock 2jzgte, from head to pan, including stock cams, stock intake, stock TB, stock head gasket etc.

We made 695whp 679Tq at 29psi boost. The power falls dramatically once we approach 700whp as our clutch just wouldn't hold...

The record over on supra forums on a completely stock 2jzgte with stock cams is 718 whp 599 tq. at 31 psi boost.

Our clutch would let loose approaching 700whp, so once we get a better clutch in and a couple psi more boost we should have the record. We already blew the torque out of the water. Not that dyno queen records mean much, but its a goal to shoot for.

Setup-

Completely stock 2jzgte including stock cams.

Super T Custom Header 1 5/8 OD primaries.(I guess super t headers do make power..lol)

4" downpipe, no muffler

2 3/4 intercooler piping.

Late Model Large style NPR intercooler.

Simple Digital systems standalone with MSD coils and MSD DIS 4

83lb injectors

5 speed Tranny, clutch masters sintered iron clutch.

Turbonetics T72 On center housing P trim .81 A/R Tial 40mm wastegate.

C16 fuel, 18 degrees timing. .023 spark plug gap.
2920lbs with driver

We ran a dyno run at 19 psi and it made 480whp and at that setting we had run a 10.5 @ 133mph. Now that we are up to 29 psi and 695whp, we'll see what it runs with the couple hundred extra HP...Hoping for some mid to low nines. We broke the driveshaft at Route 66 at this powerlevel(29psi) and haven't been back to the track...next year i guess...

Alyssa Kay

two dyno graphs..29 psi 695whp and 28psi 677whp.(you'll have to scroll down a couple of posts)

nice... now get some headwork and some cams in there and get some real power

the stock block record is now help by soundperformance. they got 980rwhp with a sp77 turbo, hks cams and some headwork running on the aem ems. this was done on a mustang dyno and the supra has a sp400 auto tranny.

and thats awesome in a truck...

Wow another 700whp 2JZ-GTE *yawn* Nice sleeper vehical tho.

You'd make more power if your A/F curve wasn't so whacked.

The clutch slipped down low at peak torque just a bit, then once it approached 700whp it totally let loose.

We run the N/A 5 speed tranny, not the 6 speed, so finding a clutch to hold that power is nearly impossible. We may need to go with some sort of custom twin disc setup.

We thought it may be sore sort of spike too and you may be right, all we can do is put in a better clutch and go redyno...but you can't even feel the slip down low, but once it hits up near 700whp, the whole truck jumps as it unloads as the clutch slips.... Also, if you look at the 677 run, there was no dip down low, just a slight evening out for a moment and then it continued back up.
We also made an earlier run at 655whp and there was no slippage an...As we cranked up the boost and got more runs in the slipping got worse..

We'll get a better clutch in and have to redyno it...

Why not run the 6spd tranny? Wanted longer gears?

You read our minds, Dave has been wanting to switch to the new style nissan trucks and put a twin turbo'd 3.5 nissan in there out of the 350z...That'd be pretty sweet!

If shes right about the clutch, it isn't a spike. We will see...

Nice 'car.'
