is there any difference between the CTR exhaust cam and the GSR exhaust cam?
i was wondering if there is a difference between the CTR exhaust cam and the GSR exhaust cam?
no. i don't think there is. actually, i read a post from here by someguy saying that his friend always made 1~2 more hp (tuned) by using ctr intake and gsr exhaust cams together rather than using ctr intake and exhaust cams....who knows...anybody else remember this thread?
thanks for the link...but i really couldnt find the answer...is there a performance difference between the CTR exhaust cam and the GSR exhaust cam?....by the way VTECorona, our cars are almost twins...I have a milano red 97 GSR with a 00 itr front bumper and lip and a 00 rear bumper...but im wingless and looking for the optional side skirts

Yeah, sometimes I see them on the road and think they look ugly. Thats why I am hesitant to do it.
i think it makes the car look sorta heavier or lower...i dont know what it is, i always liked wings but i bought my car stripped and i got a type r wing and didnt really like the look so i kept it wingless and i really like it with the newer bumper
i'm preatty sure there is a difference
u will probably get more hp with the ctr cam

I don't think you will see\feel any serious gains. The higher duration exhaust cam will be letting out more exhaust gasses but there is not more oxygen getting in since the intake cam is stock so it is basically doing nothing. Do both at once along with adjustable cam gears if you want to see some worthy gains. Also consider an intake manifold
yeah...i know the exhaust cam doesnt do much...so i was thinkin if its really worth it to buy the intake and exhaust cam...or if i should just buy the intake cam
OK, yes there is a difference. Both this thread, and the thread that was linked have a number of inaccuracies regarding these cams. Hopefully these specs will set things straight. This information was taken from Sam Karp's great B-Series Cam Guide posted at ClubSi.
