Motor is bored what should I do?

Default Motor is bored what should I do?

Well I bought Block that was bored .25 over and was wondering what should I throw in there for now? full race so I was thinking factory O/S CTR's what do you think ITR head with some skunk3"s ??? Thanks Rob
JUST for now until I can aford Darton sleves.

sounds like a decent idea as long as the cylinder wallls are fine...just clay the motor to check for clearences w/ those pistons...its been known to be a problem

yeah, check the walls, make sure they were properly honed, and go with some oversized CTR/ITR pistons.

I think skunk 3s will be too much cam for that setup. I would go with 2s.

If it is a race setup why not use a forged piston.

I don't want to waste money on forged pistons right now I'm going to save for some darton sleeves! and go 85mm, that's why I want the SK2 stage 3's Thanks for you imput. Rob

Yeah excite it with some oversized CTR slugs and Skunk2 stg3 cams. Just check the clearance very carefully on that setup.
