Front and Rear Stabilizer bars ?? went is it to big
G?d06\moment On my EK hatch this is my current set up
SI/CTR front 26mm
and SI rear 18mm (which im considering 22mm Comptech sway/strut bar combo with SRR LCA's)
A friend of mine has this set up and autocrosses a lot with some other goodies and loves the set up and im sure its more then worth it .
But i saw this today and im considering , but will it be overkill
Mugen Stabilizer bar
Front Stabilizer Civic 1996-2000 EK9/EK4 ø30mm
Rear Stabilizer Civic 1996-2000 EK9 ø24mm
Mugen Stabilizer
This stabilizer minimizes vehicle rolling during cornering by creating a spring-like effect due to its twisting. The original type stabilizer allows steering characteristics to be tuned by selecting the thickness and hence the wheel rate. The kit also includes two stabilizer bushes for the body mountings. The rear stabilizer kits are supplied with a chassis reinforcement kit.
Rear is supplied with a chassis reinforcement kit (which i know that some peeps with the ITR rear have tear the back )
I have friends runnign comptech rear sway bar combo with no problems what so ever but is this an over kill ?????????????
thanks

Why such a huge bar up front. Many of us run stock front bars and big (19mm+) rear bars. You also need to consider springs and shocks when planning a suspension upgrade. Also keep in mind that really large bars on some cars have a tendency to tear out of their mountings (very specific on this issue).
Might I suggest that you look at Neuspeed and ADDCO for their offerings and compare them to ST and Comptech.

S/T i dont like i seen them and there rear is almost the same as the comptech . with comptech i have hear nothing but good reviews . just happen to see this at the kingmotor work site.
my current suspension is SS Tein coil overs which i was planing to upgrade to RS or RE teins ..
