Black ITR owners. How many times have you been asked, "is your car a real ITR?"
It seems like every ricer I meet thinks I purchased a gang of stickers and an ITR wing to make my car resemble the '97 and '98 ITR.

heh. a guy in my apartment complex just asked me that on sat. he wasn't really a ricer, though. it was all good.
besides, with so many people having their R's jacked it might not be a bad thing if people don't know we got the real deal.

Take the wing off and put a "Special Edition" badge on it. You'll have people really confused then!

if they have to ask me i tell them no it's not real. people who really know the deal don't need to ask. i too am thinking of taking my stickers off the sides and the rear. anyone know how much they cost incase i want to put them back on??

Unfortunately to have the dealer re-apply the R decals (1 for each side and 1 for the rear) will run in excess of $100.00. Yes, that does seem ridiculous to me. I can't say how happy I am now that I've removed the decals and wing. The stealth factor has now multiplied by 10! Next on the agenda...LS dash, RS door handles, LS cluster, etc...

You could always get steel wheelies (CR-V) and hubcaps to hide the bolts. But it would look like ***.

Jason - actually, putting a SE sticker isn't a good idea as all SE cars come w/ leather seats. It's better to not put any badges. As for LS gauge. I'm working on this as well. Oh yeah, you probably shouldn't put up a picture if you want it to be totally stealth... someone browsing the board might pick you car out in real life.

I have a PY and I was searching for the Black One before..
Know why? what matters is the B18C5 inside...(for me)...
but on a positive note.. the Yellow is easier to spot when you park. LOL.
(maybe it will be hard after Hyundai have Yellows too).

people ask me all the time if mine is real....and the ricers tell me that it is fake nd that acura doesnt make a white type-r only on black and yellow.. so i laugh lol

I own a yellow R and I've been asked about 5 times. And when I tell them it is
