say i get 84.5 mm sleeves and 84.5 mm pistons, will any of the sleeve have to be honed a little or should it be perfect and just fit perfect?

 

Honing is done to help your rings seat.

Most, if not all, shops will include honing or boring as part of the sleeving "package".

Any sleeving service done through us will go through the hone and bore process after the sleeve is done. ITS not just a sleeve service and you take care of the other maching after. All machining will be done and ready to go once it leaves us and ships to you.

so your saying that you ship the sleeve honed already perfect for dropping in the pistons?

He isn't referring to simply selling the sleeves themselves. The service he speaks of is actually "sleeving" a block, which includes honing and/or boring as part of the package. In that case yes, the block would be ready to have the pistons installed.

if the piston is provided, the bore and hone will be done according to the specs and ready to install.
