hey guys i have an 88 crx si and it has a shattered passenger window and door. its an si and i cant find a replacement. so i have to drive around w/o it. my main problem is that i have a $400 deck in it and about $1000 worth of cd's or more. i need some extra security, what alarm should i get? and does anyone have a replacement window? can u i just hook up a fuel pump kill switch with any ole switch form autozone or somehting? ok thansks

Hit the salvage yards for the window and door, I got my excellent condition replacement window for 30 bucks. If you can deal with having a broken door for a while, buy a new or used window and do the installation yourself, its pretty damn easy compared to some other cars.

 

hahahhahahahahhahaha i ave tried just about everywhere and sent out $140 2 seperate times and got NOTHING. i have to have a door form an 88 crx si. they basically are non existant. i found one about 30 miles form where i live an 88 crx si in a roll over, and the basically only thing smashed was the passenger door but so i have to drive aroud with it like that.

 

I have a passenger side door window out of my '90 Civic STD. I dunno if it will fit or not for your Rex, but I'd be happy to sell it if it would. Can someone here vouch if it will fit or not. I don't think it will, but it's worth a shot to ask.

just go to the honda dealer.. they shouyld still have replacement parts for your rex.... and get a auto lock till you get your window fixed

 

i have the complete door. didnt know that the si and dx body parts where different. im trying to get an hf door this weekend. if i get it just gimmie$60 for the complete door with glass and pay shipping...its black,no interior panel
