Driver door window problem.....

Driver door window problem.....
Ive searched, and havent found what Im looking for. I have a 2006 Accord 4 door, 2.4 engine. All the windows work fine, except the driver door. When the driver window switch is depressed (as in pushed, not when its feeling down), I can hear the clicking of what sounds like a relay, or solinoid, but the window doesnt move. When useing the key FOB to lower the windows, all the windows go down, except the driver door window. Same thing when I use the key in the lock to operate the windows. All go up and down, 'cept the drivers. Is this indicative of the regulator being bad? Before it stopped completely, it would work intermitently. Some days it would be fine, others it wouldnt work. So far, the only trouble shooting I have done, other than what I mentioned, is moving the switch in the Up and Down positions very rapidly, in the hopes it would excorsise the power window demon from the car. Sadly......It didnt. I am quite handy with tools, and have just about everything I can imagine I would need to perform a repair on this, just looking for a little guidance before I find myself explaining to my Wife, WHY the engine is removed from the car when only the driver window wasnt working....
Thank you for any/all input.

Re: Driver door window problem.....
Its almost always a master window switch if all the other windows work, but it can also be a regulator (window motor), remove the door panel, and apply 12v and ground to the 2 pins for the regulator connector. Just for a moment, if the window doesn't move, reverse the connection and see if it moves. If it doesn't move that way either, then the regulator is seized, and this is also pretty common with accords.
I am attaching the diagrams to help you with the window testing, use pins 1 and 4 as listed, use the connector view to determine wire colors so you know which pin is which.
To remove the door panel, you need to remove the trim panel behind the inside door handle, there is 2 phillips screws, remove the master window switch panel, unplug all connectors, remove the sideview mirror access panel (triangle piece at the front of the door above the door panel), remove the little cover in the door handle area, there is another phillips screw there. Then pull the door panel out from the bottom to remove the clips, once all the clips are free slide the door panel up and off the rail.

Re: Driver door window problem.....
Well, I got the new motor/regulator assembly installed, and the window works just as new! Thanks to everyone, and special thanks to Havasu_Junkie! Total time took about an hour and 15 mins., but the extra time was spent trying to remove the window lifting mechanisim from the window, as it was stuck in the "Up" position, and access to the 2 bolts was tight. Wife is happy now, and can once again enjoy going thru the Drive thru window of Her favorite fast food place!

Just curious did you go with OEM or aftermarket regulator? And if you don't mind me asking how much was it? On hondautomotiveparts.com it's like 180.00 which seems steep. Thanks in advance.
