wheel feels and sounds like it's coming off
I have a 98SH...the rt side wheel is woobling like hell. I checked the cv boots and they aren't busted. It makes this weird *** grinding sound also, but not all the time. If I drive it over 50mph it goes away. Now i'm driving my 85 accord until I find out whats wrong....anybody know what's causing this.
I have no clue, sounds like somethign that would stick out like a sore thumb if you checked it out though..Never heard of someone's wheel whobling unless the lug nuts are loose...
Sounds like your front wheel bearing. Those are a pain to switch out, becauase you have to press out the hub and bearing. It's better to replace the entire assembly. I have an SH front knuckle/hub if you want, IM me for pricing.
jack your car up and grab the wheel, if you can make it move from side to side (aka in and out) it's the bearing. The bearing alone is $100+ you have to press them in an out and the install. trust me it's better to replace the knuckle.

thanx for the info...i will check it out. I hope that's all it is. My turbo kit is in the mail so I wanna have everything running smoothe before I install.

NO WAY! OEM knuckles *DO NOT* come with a bearing already pressed in. Trust me, I know this first hand. Get the bearing and have the honda dealership, or any suspension/body place, press the old one out and the new one in.
I know the guys at the dealership pretty well so when I brought in my old and new knuckles to get it switched they did it for free. Took all of 5 minutes to get the job done (i just transfered my bearing instead of getting a new one). If your caster isn't off (IE> your knuckle isn't bent) don't spend the $150 on a new one *PLUS* the price of a new bearing!
