New to AutoX and want to find info on where I can do it in the Sacramento area
I have a 2001 ITR and live in folsom CA, just wondering where i could find information on where I could auto X up here and if anyone wants to help take me under thier wing and not flame on me!! what would be some good starting mods for auto X?
Sacramento chapter (events in Stockton)

Mods: Leave it stock and get some good tires.

The Sacramento chapter are holding events down at Stockton due to lack of available sites.
Don't worry about the mods for now. Just go out there and get a feel of what Autox is about.

I'm at all of the Sacramento Chapter autocrosses. If you need any help, feel free to let me know. I'm the guy driving the silver VW GTI in Street Mod.
As for car mods, I would probably suggest you go out there and work on the driving aspect initially. The mods you plan to do should also depend on the class you're looking to compete in. Autox is typically 95% driver skill anyway.

Like the other guys said, go and play out there. You got an R, so you should have plenty to learn with.

thanks for all ur guys help, my R has intake and exaust and a C's short shifter...and thats it, what class would that be?
Yep. Shifter and intake puts you in STX.
And I do believe the correct term is car ****. No currency exchanged.
