Sacramento chapter (events in Stockton)

San Francisco chapter (events all over the bay area)

Mods: Leave it stock and get some good tires.

The Sacramento chapter are holding events down at Stockton due to lack of available sites.

Don't worry about the mods for now. Just go out there and get a feel of what Autox is about.

I'm at all of the Sacramento Chapter autocrosses. If you need any help, feel free to let me know. I'm the guy driving the silver VW GTI in Street Mod.

As for car mods, I would probably suggest you go out there and work on the driving aspect initially. The mods you plan to do should also depend on the class you're looking to compete in. Autox is typically 95% driver skill anyway.

Yeah, another HT member at Sac Auto-X.
I'm there racing STS, I have a beater grey Civic hatch.
feel free to say hi or anything.

Like the other guys said, go and play out there. You got an R, so you should have plenty to learn with.

Wouldn't take much to convince some of us to show you how to drive that thing.
Or at least try (to show you).

You should probably run D-stock street tire (ST group) if your car is still stock.

Yep. Shifter and intake puts you in STX.

And I do believe the correct term is car ****. No currency exchanged.
