Some of this may be old news, but there were a lot of things that are news to me....I'll try to make a list:
-Obviously new front/rear fascias, wheels, lights, oval exhaust tips, etc. etc.
-Cabin room increased by using deeper contoured door panels...2 cup holders also
-Stoke increased by 6.7 millimeters, bumping displacement from 1997 to 2157
-Compression ratio raised to 11.1:1
-Redline dropped to 8000rpm
-New instrument cluster
-240hp @ 7800 instead of 8300
-162lb/ft of torque @ 6500 rpm instead of 153 @ 7500
-Pistons move at 4761 feet per second at redline instead of 4906
-top gear 30-50mph in 8.8 instead of 9.9
-top gear 50-70mph in 7.9 instead of 9.4
-1st through 4th gears are 4% lower than '03, 5th is 1% lower than '03
-6th gear is 2% higher than '03
-New carbon-composite synchros, which allow the use of double-cone rings where there were triples, and singles where there were doubles, for lighter engagement and smoother shifts
-Suspension is not "watered down"; it handles better and pulls better numbers on the skidpad
-Stiffer front springs and retuned shocks
-Softer rear springs, smaller anti-roll bar, reduced bump-steer responses and a lower roll center (these changes are to make more progessive breakaway characteristics)
-Less body roll and power-oversteer on the track
-Bridgestone Potenza RE050s (45 series 215s in front, 40 series 245s out back)
-Optional XM radio and headrest speakers
-Various body rigidity enhancements
-New engine mounts
-New suspension bushings
Sounds like a lot of improvements

I like the fact that s2k is getting better but its not that significant. Oh yea, i'm not feeling the new rear bumper, especially where the bumper meets the exhaust.
either way i still love the car 00-04 doesnt matter

I think the new options are cool too. Now people don't have to complain about not being able to hear the radio with the top down. Someone needs to post pics of the headrest speakers.
First bunch of my04 arrived Canada last Friday nite. Looks pretty good but would be even better with same kinda rims in 16" and wider width maybe?
