how do i tell the year of my motor!
i don't have a pic..and i'm sure someone will post. but towards the bottom of the head, there is a stamp and it has the month and year stamped on it. they are circular stamps.
The 1st digit of the block serial # is supposed to be the model-year, from when the engine was first available. So if it says B18C1 - 1nnnnn that's a '94 because that was the 1st year the B18C1 was available.
My '95 was built in december '94, but it's a '95 model-year. My engine serial # starts with 2.
This works with all 3 of my Hondas. Who wants to check theirs to make sure this stuff is really true??
