$21000 is what my brother paid actually only had 5700 miles though and was not moded in any way.

Dealers suck, they try to make type R owners trade in there cars for a rsx and sell the used type R's for more than what they were worth new.

 

anywhere from 19.5 (what my bro paid for an 00 with 12k) to 23k, I suppose...

I would say $21k would make it worth my while...

I'd also say that for every 10 employees of the dealerships, maybe half of one knows anything about the cars they sell. Would an 01 be worth more with factory Fogs, LoJack, and the trunk Mat?

 

I would say yes, the fog lights and trunk mat really wont make a difference in price b/c new the two would total like $200 bucks. The lojack is good b/c it pays your deductible.

 

People sometimes bump up the prices to be further up on the list so there car is seen first, the write obo. So don't let that get you down. Make some calls and see what they say.

 

How scary is it that I got mine new for less than some people are getting used ones.. Crazy stuff!

 

I called that guy and he wasn't budging on the price. Looks like a good deal though. I mean its the cleanest you may find. Also I would double check if its still up for sale b/c I saw it on ebay and I think it reached the reserve.

There are asking prices, and there are selling prices.

If I were selling, I would probably ask $24K and expect to actually sell for somewhere between $21,500 and $23,000.

 

I paid $21,000 for my R with 12K on the odometer. The previous owner even bought me a plan ticket to purchase the car since it was out of state.

 

i got mine for 20 thousand even..he he
