Rebuild your tranny. OR spend $30 on 3 qrts of GM Syncromesh. It has helped my 5th gear grind. You can only get it at the GM dealer. There is some knockoff but I cant remember what it is. Use the search for GM Snycormesh. It seems to be working well for most people with grinds.

Overhaul the tranny and replace the necessary gears and synchros.

Will this prevent future grinding?

The stuff works... but will only help for so long.
Grinding means the syncros (blocking rings) are wearing out.. the syncromesh will help but not fix the problem

Is it ok to use with a quiafe? My tranny isn't grinding yet but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to start using this?

Sounds easy but.....where do you get third gear synchros for a JDM trans?
