Default New clutch installed!

Took a swift 2 and a half hours or so to drop the tranny, replace the clutch and get the tranny back on - not bad huh?

I went with the ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate and Street/Strip organic disc.
The pedal feel is actually alot stiffer then I expected..I was surprised.
The enganment is very smooth though...especially coming from using a 6 Puck copper disc.
Im in the process of doing the 300 mile break-in so I havnt had a chance to see how it holds up to fast shifting and all...but Ill keep you guys updated

Haha...no caffine

I actually dropped the tranny (when I put the flywheel and GSR tranny on) like a week agon. That took about 5 hours...so now I knew exactly where all the bolts and everything was..went real smooth.

Heh..yea no joke huh. Im getting real broke here..actually I am broke! I have like $20 till pay day

The thing with my clutch..there was this knocking noise..and I thought my pressure plate had come loose (we didnt torque it down right last time).
I was all scared that it was gonna come off...so I had to pull the tranny.
Since I had to pull the tranny..I figured I might as well throw a new clutch in...right?

Turns out the knocking wasnt from the pressure plate..I dont know where it was coming from.
Either way though...we used Loctite and torqued everything down right this time

Air tools make a job so much faster. If I do work at my friends house it always takes at least 30 minutes less since he has air tools.

For example, I was able to drop a suspension in 1 hour working all alone versus 2 hours at my house.
