JDM Accord - J25?
I have a couple Accord questions for you guys. I have access to a RHD JDM 03 Accord. There are a couple catches though, it does not have a title (it's semi-wrecked) and I don't think I can have it in whole. I can how ever piece it out as much as I please. I believe the engine that is in it is a J25, does that sound right? Are there any valuable parts that you guys look for out of RHD accords? Do the '03 engines swap into any other year Accords. This motor has under 50 miles on it so I'd love to be able to put it in something.
I really forget, I've been working on a Subaru RS25 all week so that might be clouding my mind. It's the 2003, 6 cylinder and the valve cover says VTEC.
It's an auto too, we haven't had many ideas what to do with it. We've been looking to find a crazy project instead of the standard turbo / built projects. One idea was a gutted 1st gen CRX with this 6 VTEC auto in it for a drag car. Maybe a custom turbo setup on it too. Something fun just for the track.

From waitnews.com, here is a quote about the Inspire engine
" The Inspire is powered by Honda's new 250 PS 3.0-liter V6 i-VTEC engine that features Honda's newly developed Variable Cylinder Management System. This system provides for much improved economy by idling three cylinders during cruising. Honda says that with the new 3.0 litre powerpack, the fuel efficiency achievement is on a par with a 2.4-litre in-line 4-cylinder engine.
BTW,
Do you have the headlights for this car? Will you sell them?

Yeah I have the headlights, I might consider selling them, we're currently looking at converting a CRX to fit them. They look very nice.
Going to get parts right now, getting head lights and anything else that's worth selling. I'll have more info on it in an hour and what's available. Getting the engine later this week to make a CRX/Accord Drag Car possibly turbo. Muwhahaha
Any requests for parts?

I'm back, bad news, the passenger headlight is busted. I'm not sure if it's JDM or EDM, it's definitly RHD. It says Inspire on the back and is a big *** engine, pretty sure its the 6. Here's some stuff that is still good on the car if anyone is interested contact me today, seats (front and back all still in wrappers), gauge cluster, rear tail lights, fog lights, all door panels, main controls are on the right hand side, wood grain steering wheel, any weird engine stuff you might need starter, alt, etc... Make any reasonable offers.
Are all new Accords called "Inspires" or just the JDM ones? Everything on the car is all in JDM writing too so if you want any weird crap for show just say something.
