Misfire/rough ride on lower RPM.
Just bought my Black Integra Type R last week. (Europe, #2113)
I don't know it it is normal that the car is a little rough (sounds like it's misfires/backfires) once or twice at lower (2-3000 RPM) in i.e. 4th gear.
Once the RPM climbes, it will pull strong and it never happens at higher RPM's.
If ideling, I can also hear a similar "misfire" sound, but it is not that common as when accelerating.
I'm new to this board, hope anyone can answer.
PS. How do you all modify/create signatures with the cool pictures. I'd like to show my car too.

Welcome, yeah another Euro spec ITR. Are you sure it's misfire? Let a dealer check it.
I see different rims on that car..... And a DTM exhaust....

That's my rear end!! Feel free to use it, I love it myself.
I was thinking maybe a bad plug, and from the answers so far I assume the problem is not normal.
If I buy new plugs, will they be silicone coated. (Read that somewhere.) Get NGK platinums?
Check engine is not lit.
Exhaust is loud (nice loud), but does it do HP? Was on the car when I got it.

First, before anything, check/change your plugs and see if that helps. Buy the stock NGK plugs for best results--don't go plug experimenting if you are trying to diagnose a problem.
