98' GSR w/ 90k miles, what do you think?
I've been lookin for a replacement for my stolen GSR, I found a White 98' 2-Door GSR here locally. Its got black leather interior, they said its in good condition, its got 90k miles on it, selling for $7,700, now i don't know about the title or anything, but as long as the title is clean, do you think that buying a gsr with 90k miles is a good idea? I know my old one had 68k, which isn't that far off, but still pretty low for a 98. What do you guys think?
i think u should get a full diagnostic and if everything is in perfect condition like my 99 teg with 85 kmiles (runs like a champ) then u should get it 100k is when the motors are said to be broken in and get full potential ... also check to make sure the trany isnt grinding due to synchro malfunction
i agree with the diagnostics and checking the tranny. I bought my 98 GSR almost 2 years ago when it had 77k and it ran like a champ (still does

aight so 90k miles isn't too bad? theres also one around here, a 99' GSR, Milano Red, with black leather interior, its for sell for 13,400, and it says 15k original miles. That sounds like a low amount of miles, but practically brand new.
just research them and see if they have been in any crashes... etc .. get them both checked out and what ever one meets ur financial situation get it
test drive it, check maintenance records, and anything else you can get out of it.
if all works out clean, then jump all over it. not a bad deal at all
, i'd take it if it was clean

if that motor is in good shape then hand out the cash. i think its a great deal. if what i said above all matches up.
