Default Apexi ws or n1: which is better for turbo

i came across a new axle back that came off a rx7. this is the ws exhaust system

i also have a brand new n1 for turbo app.

i was wondering which would you throw on and whats your input on either exhausts

what mm is the axle back? if it's 70+ then the WS for sound supression. N1 if you don't give a damn

i have the n1 on my turbo ek , love it , not horribly loud at all . the turbo quiets the car down quite a bit

Quick kinda ot question.. would it be bad to have a spoon muffler+custom piping on turbo?

go custom 3 in turbo-back. Expensive, but well worth it.

I like it, but the piping 2.25 just isn't going to do much for a turbo application car, the design of the WS is far too restrictive.

N1 is 60mm which is like 2.33"...still kinda restrictive turbos especially on the top end, but I still like it a lot....super nice and quiet exhaust note....N1 is not as obnoxiuos as it is on an NA car.

He said he has the N1 for turbo apps, so im goign to assume it's the 3"

Either way i would go with the n1

The baffle design of the WS muffler is not as free flowing as a strait-through design. It would be quieter but you would probably want to go with the N1 or another turbo friendly muffler.

I agree custom 3" if you got the loot.

I have the N1, absolutely love it.

WS is nice, but regardless of which N1 you have it's smaller diameter piping, meaning power loss, especially with a Turbo
