Default how difficult is it and what is the safest way to remove the rear engine mount to install energy mou

i have heard this is difficult procedure but which is the easiest and safest way to remove the rear mount on a 92-95 civic with integra mounts? is it better to leave both upper and lower mounts on from the passenger and driver's side then remove the rear mount? or should i try the balancing act of leaving only the mounts on one side on but leaving the other side off to get to the rear easier?

i'm putting in my clutch at this time and would like this to get taken care of as well. my tranny is off as well. so, i figure this is the best time to do it. thanks in adv.

gonna have to remove one or both front mounts, as the car wont move enough eithout something loose. the rear mount is a pain, so basically you need to rocker the motor enough to move it up to slip in the mount. i wouldnt be surprised if you had to remove both front bushings.

if i remove both driver and passenger side mount, there's nothing holding the engine up except the rear. i don't want to engine falling on me now.

rent a engine hoist, strap it to the inside braces of your garage, or use someone elses.
If you are wanting to do it your self that is your only choice with out purchasing, barrowing, or haveing someone sneak you into a shop he he

actually, i looked at it and i will only have to remove the brace (triangle shaped from mount to block) instead of the complete mount from the chassis. has anyone done this before?

ah jeez, im tired of people blowing this out of proportion...its not that hard to get to it...it just requires mucho extensions, swivel sockets, and some good old patience. You do NOT have to remove the front mounts...thats just stupid...
