I'm not too sure but I think some of the later ones won't work unless you make soem custom mounts. And the crx seats have a much more narrow pan and rail than the civics do.
I have the same kinda question.. I have a set of 90 Si seats I want to put in my 89 DX and I can't get them sob's in my 89.. I looks like I got to do some cutting but not sure. The back seat went in with ease..

I got JDM seats, I just took the USDM brackets, stuck them on the JDM seats and did a little bit of modifications and they fit fine, due to the odd fitting of the CRX seats I am pretty sure all seat swaps will take a little bit of modifications, it's nothing u cannot handle on your own, don't be scared
I have Si seats in my 91' DX. I'm not sure of what year they are, because I bought them off some guy, with not much info. Here's what I did...
1) Unbolt the original rails off the seats that are curently on..
2) Unbolt the Si seat rails.
I then tried to bolt the Si seat to the original frame rails, and saw where it did not match up. I then drilled a hole or two, to make it fit. This step took the longest..because my drill battery kept going dead, but basically the trick is- drill your original rails to make the Si seat bolt to them...using the Si frame rails is helpless..
After that, I then bolted 3 of the 4 bolts in, and noticed one was off. I forced it to bolt in....and the bolt ended up breaking off into the hole. I tried using an ease-out...and no luck. I ended up simply drilling and tapping a new hole for that last hole on the frame..it was only about 1-2" off. After that, they bolted in fine. This took me a LONG time, because I had not read anything on Si seats in a DX or HF before..learned as I went.

CRX DX seats are the same seats as in the CRX Si. Did you buy Civic Si seats?

You can make seats (Frant and rear) from a 95 hatch fit, if you are good at fabrication, I hace '95 Cx hatch seats in mine Front and rear and everything bolts up to stock pan holes. But modifications were made to do that.
88-89 have totally different attachment points then the 90-91.
The seat bottom in the 88-89 has a bracket that is built into the seat bottom that the 90-91 dont have.
My 90 Si seats would not fit in my 88 without modification to the seat bottom and re-drilling some spots in the bottom.
I have picked up a set of Del Sol seats and will do a step by step on what it takes to make them fit in my 88.
I prefer the Sparco seats in the Rally Car but dont need the invitation of a break-in in the trailer park car...

Not sure how, but I'm not gonna call you a liar either..
The 90-91 have the seat belt's in the door, this means the receiver end of the belt is attached to the center side of the seat. For Honda to be able to make this work, they had to reinforce the seat attachment points (those of us with 88-89 civics can attest to the fact that the factory attachment points on the bottom of the seat is really weak). When they did this reinforcement they changed the brackets that are built into the floor pan and the brackets that are built into the bottom of the seat. Both are in a totally different position then the 88-89 cars.

dude put the seats in the car where you want them, mark the bolt holes, drill holes, then grade8 bolts/washers.
