Default what suspension for ef?

what suspension would be practical enough for daily driving and ideal for circuit racing for an ef?

been thinking about getting the tein ra's for the longest time but have also been recommended (for cost effectiveness) to go with just the kyb agx setup over skunk2 sleeves/ground controls...

any suggestions. the ef is gutted and will be caged shortly after. thanks.

The best setup for the ef in my opinion is the Koni adjustable shocks on decent coil-overs. I like Ground Control because you can custom spec your spring rates. For a street/race car, I'd run 400f/450r and just deal with a slightly harsh ride. If you live in a place where roads are bad, that's going to feel a little harsh though. But in the end, if you put on this setup, your first reaction will be "this isn't too bad actually." But eventually you'll say to yourself, "I'm tired of this car as a daily driver." The Tein products are great too, but in my opinion, you get more usability over a broader range with the Konis. The more affordable Teins adjust both compression and rebound together with the same adjustment; so if you want to control the body mass more, you are stuck raising the compression adjustment of the shock too..... and that's not usually a good thing necessarily. The Konis adjust rebound only; so you can retain the compliance of low compression valving for the bumps with the lower compression valving and still control the mass of the car better in transitions with the higher rebound valving. This is a better setup for a street car I think. And btw, If it was a track-only car, I might suggest something in the 600's or 700's.
Hope that helps!

hey chris, do u think those rates will hold up when on race tires or would you have to go higher?
