Default FYI: Crankcase breather info

I spoke to a Moroso tech today... Moroso is located in Guilford, CT which is my hometown so i figured i stop down to ask them info. Well I know that Endyn has a catchcan setup for the B-Series engine but i wanted to know for the F-series. I have 6th gen Accord w/ F-Max setup and i wanted to know what to do wi/ PCV setup and breather that comes from valve cover and runs into OEM intake system which just sits there now b/c i have no where to put it.. it just spits out fumes onto my I/C piping... (BTW i wouldnt reroute it back into my I/C piping anyways b/c its hot and would make me lose power) So I asked them what to do? The Moroso tech said i could buy product #85470... located on this site http://www.moroso.com/catalog/...13400
He said to plug up the PCV setup since i have a turbo.. and take off that valve cover breather and replace it w/ a hose and connect it to female nipple on dry sump breather tank... he said to keep the hose as short as possible... so mount it anywhere that it wouldnt interfere with other parts...

Morosso custom makes the tanks for Endyn. If you notice the one made for endyn had 2 bung on it.

Vs

All you would need to do is weld 2 bungs on it.

The whole point is to cause a suction, thus not just letting the crankcase pressure escape from somewhere, but to actually encourage it, but sucking that pressure out,... by routing that hose from your valve cover into your intake it creates a suction, however on a turbocharged car there are some drawbacks, one main one being that it will muck up your intercooler and intercooler piping.

I have a moroso anti backfire valve threaded onto a piece of piping that I am going to weld into my exhaust. I have cut an exact 45 degree angle into the pipe that it is threaded to, where it will go into the exhaust, and as the exhaust gasses go by this pipe, it will create a suction, essentially sucking out the crankcase gasses out into my exhaust. I haven't welded it in yet, but tonight I will post pics of it,... it is very simple, and proven effective,.... V8's have been doing it for years, and it was a method used on STOCK chevy's for quite a while!

Another method is of course to pump it out with a vacuum, or..... I will post some more pics on this later tonight!
