500+ WHP from a d16???

it does look awesome but
using a max rev mani and a t3/t4 w/ a stg 3 wheel
something doesnt add up imo or am I just paranoid?

thats an insane amount of torque. 8.8:1 Compression and 20psi (if I read correctly). There's built B20's and H22 with higher compression and more boost that don't make that kind of power and torque. But if this SOHC is true,

Nope by looking at that chart it ain't right! The horsepower and torque do not intersect at 5252rpm, BUT I checked the left and right side of the graph tomake sure they were not on different axis but they are on the same axis, They both start at 100whp/torque and upper end is 550. That is my take on it. Alot of times people will cl bullshit because they don't intersect but those dynos are set up on different axis for the hp and torque. Lets say torque starts on the right at 150 and goes to 450 but the hp will be 250 and 550 or so. Make sense? I dunno if I am wrong or reading something wrong I apologize! But I don't think I am wrong here actually because i will give props where props are due especially for a SOHC.

Yep it would never stop boosting!Opening of the wastegate releases enhaut gases so relieves boost.

This dyno is obviously fake. Somebody was having fun with Photoshop. There's this little equation. It goes like this:
HP = (TQ x RPM)/5252
This is why the graphs (if they are set in the same scale) intersect at 5252, b/c that is where hp = tq. Have a little fun plugging in some of the various points of this "supposed" dyno graph. See if they match up.

Also my friend Noshoes there brought up a good point the horsepower dip should show together with the torque dip it is in the opposite position on the dyno or SWITCHED! That horsepower dip at 7000 and 7800 rpms
Now look at mine the redlines for torque and horsepower
edit:That dyno chart is down now! WTF? Called their bluff I guess!

lol! 0wn3d y0. I thought it was fake at first sight but didn't wanna day anything. It also says in that thread about how his tuner was telling him about a bunch of people that have 600+ whp dseries........ where?

That's pretty damn cool, I just checked on a couple dyno's and they all intersect at that point, never knew that

That 5252rpm thing is kinda freaky... i just checked all my dyno plots and that's pretty dead on...
What's the reasoning behind why it always does that... preferably in terms I can understand

horsepower is a calculated number based on torque and rpm. the equation is (torque x rpm)/5252. when rpm's are 5252, mathematically, it cancels with the 5252 in the bottom of the equation and you get torque=hp. The equation is derived based on the definition of hp and torque.

All I read was "500+ WHP, D16"....and I already called BS before I clicked into the thread. I didn't need a fake dyno graph, or some uber mathematics to prove it. heh heh But if it helps you guys...
Damn !! I clicked immediately on the link and red the entire topic on the other board and I was about to call BS on this till I continue to read the topic here
Yeah, 400WTQ @ 8000rpm = 609WHP

I must admit, this made me laugh

I was getting all excited because I have a very similar setup. I just can't believe it at only 20 psi on a D16. As much as I would like too, oh well.

Plus, you can clearly tell the graph is fake. Just by looking at it.

If you extrapolate the values from the graph, and plug it into a normal (tqxrpm)/5252 as how they measure it on Dynojets, this thing would have made 622whp on a Dynojet. Not sure what kind of dyno that thing was measured on!
