This is unfuckingbelievable!!! My friend Joel (owner of Import Performance) lost his Turbo R last night while it was parked at his mothers house in Fairview, NJ. It was CW with a rev-hard kit on it. The car had Haltech engine management and a freshly rebuilt bottom end. The owner is offering a reward for any info leading to the car or parts from the car. He asked me to post this. This ******* SUCKS!!!

The car had a c/f hood also. CW wheels, and everything else was stock R.(exterior)

I am so sorry. I am at the point of just being numb. So many of our cars are getting stolen.

I'll relay exactly what he told me. He parked it in his moms driveway. Took out the Haltech brain. Blocked it in with his moms car and went to sleep. Between 3AM and 5AM is when it happened. Cuz his neigbor knocked on his moms door at 5AM and asked why her Buick Century was in the middle of the street. BTW his moms house is in a culdesac in a nice, quiet suburban area. He's guessing he was followed home.

I'm glad I stay with my parents and have my R locked up at my brother's house in the middle of no-where.

but so sad to hear another one fall victim to theft.

 

I'm ******* furious about this. Man, that car was my idol!! It went 113 mph on saturday at E-town (full interior, low boost, mild tune) and it was soooo pretty. CW with a big shiny intercooler in the front air dam. I hope it's found intact! (fingers crossed)

That car was sick. Thats sucks bro, cant have an R anymore unless you have a safe for it. Honda has to do something about these cars being so interchangeable. This **** is never going to stop til all the R's are gone.
On another note my IS300 was broken into last night and they fucked up my key hole and stole my spare tire. These people are ************* and I may wait for one of these ******** to try to **** with my car again. The **** has been on the street for less than a week.

You need to move or get a garage. Your part of NYC is nice, but car thieves and thieves in general like that area because everybody has nice things to steal. I live about 10 minutes from you and it is the same thing. Nice neighborhood, but theft is common because of proximity to bad neighborhoods, etc. etc.

 

I found one garage on my block but the lady hasn't gotten back to me. It sucks because now I have to pay another $100 a month. Thats a S4 car payment. I dont think moving is an option right now, these pieces of **** should maybe start working for stuff instead of taking. I work two jobs just so I could pay for the damage these pos do to my cars. I think a gun permit should be my next item of business. Rather go to jail for killin one of these ******** than having another piece of my property fucked with.

this is absolutely unreal. i blame the cops. if there were more strict penalties for car theft or damage it may dissway these idiots. i say we should seriously consider whats thats dudes name? - an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. someone takes your car, your burn their house. sounds fair, right?

you cant even go to the track any more. you go there in your nice car, race it, impress people, get followed home by some pos 92 hatch, and next thing you know, your car is gone, and this hatch is now running at the track..

nytr- you live in morris park, right? do you at least have it fenced in, or is the car always on the street? why not consider renting a place up in yonkers or summin, at least you can negotiate driveway or backyard space or summin...
i know of a py itr in yonkers (area not to be disclosed here, damn thieves!) that is fenced in.. still there too!

 

If anybody has any information about this car, please post here. Joel and H-Pimp are both my friends, and I hate to see this happen. If any of the thieves are reading this, WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND!!!! You will be found, cause there is no place to hide a car that everybody knows.
Hey H-Pimp do you think you can get some of the pictures of this car so people in NJ know how it looks like. Just in case they see it parked anywhere.

You know whats funny is it seems if your a thief nothing comes back around. I mean the only time something comes backaround is if your the type of person that rarely does anything wrong. Thiefs are ****** with everybodys stuff so often that karma doesn't kick in for them. And if it does, they did soo much that there penalty isn't soo bad. Thieves suck and if you are one and reading this I hope you get elephantitus.
Now back to the subject, everybody keep an eye out for a white type r with intercooler. Also the car has red lug nuts. Just a little somethin that isn't on every type R.

 

Someone wanted that car for sure.. This is getting all too common, here's my theory: Either someone off the street saw your car probably at the track, followed you home , and stole it OR it is someone who frequents this site who read about your car, tracked you down, and then stole it.

This goes to shows that when someone wants your car real bad they'll get it. Being that it was blocked in tells me it was someone who knew what they were doing.

Hopefully you filed a police report, and have receipts for everything. I'm sure they'll find your car but it will be all stripped..

only damn prob is lojack is already defeatable. ive seen devices that can find the lojack unit in your car.. so they rip it out, or tow and and dump the damn thing..

the dude from acura said about the rsx when i went to test drive - with our new chip technology, we are about 1 year ahead of thieves as far as technology. supposedly, you cant jump the rsx (and other cars with key chips) im sure there are still ways to do it.. when you want summin bad enuff, they just take the damn thing..

thas funny tho. no itrs, but ALL ricers with itr motors.. LOL. doesnt that seem strange officer?

 

EVIL I don't know if Joel has any pictures of the car. But I'll ask him tonight. NYTR, thats a good point you made. The car has red Spoon lug nuts on it. Which are easily spotted. This outfuckingrageous!!! I'm considering moving out of NY altogether man!!! Got a job offer in Cleveland!

 

This is how the car looked like. It has all 4 cw wheels on it, the black wheels were just drag radials for the track. I hope this will help out. This is the only picture on the net I found of it.
