OK so im lookin to get the exospeed stage 2 cams and some head work done and prolly a rechipped ecu....my motor has 180k on it and i was wonderin should/do i need to do anythin to the block...I wanna run a 50/75 wet shot also. The motor runs good now, doesnt burn oil or anythin but can the rods handle the higher revs?

a d16a6 has one cam, not cams.

by the sound of it, you should maybe look into a quick hone/rering of the engine. even though it doesnt smoke or anything, 180k is a lot on an old engine like the a6, and reringing shouldn't cost that much, since you say it doesnt smoke you probaly wont have to bore it out.
