Default GSR Seats in 89 CRX si .. will it work ?

not sure what year the gsr seats are .. they are not the leather ones ...
but the black with stripes .. .. and i was wondering .. if these would fit into my 89 rex si ... or if i would have to get a new bracket or something to hold the seats down .....

if anyone knows this would be great ..cause if so .. then i ll go for it ..

thanx

Stock si seats are better than gsr to me, keep the money and get the reupholsterred in a 2 tone leather and save you some cash and still have good forming seats with a new look... but yes gsr seats will fit

Teg seats are too much work to put into an EF. Stick with the stock Si seats. I had two sets of GSR seats, and I am still rolling the stock seats.

I've got 00 leather GSR seats in my 89 CRX as well. It was not hard at all to have brackets made to fit the car. It cost only $120 for both. With brand new OEM carpeting and mint GSR seats the car is very nice inside. They are comfortable, a little slippery when turning hard, but the lumbar support is also nice.

If you go to a good body shop they will be about an hour a bracket. (2 hours) Once that's done, 10 mins to bolt them in place and your done.

My BFs Car(GSR Seats)

He went to home depot and got a long piece of metal and made his own brackets. He did 3 per seat since only one lined up. Took a piece of cardboard to measure the length and holes. Come out pretty good and he hasnt had a problem since.

That actually does sound like a good idea... If you have the tools to do it.
Props to the DIY'er

However I love the 90-91 CRX Si seats... I want new ones!!!
