I have a hatch 91(b16a1) RS'R exmag GTII exh. , RS*R header 4-2-1, CTR cams, No cat, Short ram(K&N) what kind of whp is it? The car has light 15" rims with good rubber. No back seat and no spare wheel. Can I run a mid 14" in the 1/4 mile with this setup?

and no you wont see 14's unless good driving can make up for lack of torque, and im talking 14.9 here....

I ran a 14.6 with a homemade intake and a crush bent exhaust (light 88 std though).

 

hell yeah you could run mid 14's with that setup probaly low 14's with slicks. your probaly pushing around 140 whp.

 

B16's usually put around 130's to the wheels, but there is no way to know unless you go to a dyno. With a gutted EF and a healthy bolt-on B16, yea, 14's can happen.

 

last time i was at the dyno there was a dude with a 99 si with hose mods

115? must have been a crap b16


b16 in EF bolt ons and good tires can get you into the 14's (i know i have a b16 ef and have done it) ofcoarse conditions very and everything so there is no garantee

 

B16s average around 135-145 stock. None of this 115whp ****. I'm sure if thats what it put out, then it wasnt a very heealthy motor.

With that combination, expect anywhere from 150-160whp(probably closer to 150 if untuned).

Well your car isn't tuned and it's a 1st Gen B16A so be happy to break 140whp.

 

I saw 14.8 with stock everything just the b16 swap into a full interior crx with body kit. Stock interior stock exhaust, Stock airbox etc.......

Yup, possible. Raene ran a 14.6 with just a CAI (and gutted rear).

 

b16a with a header and CTR cams should be right around 150 WHP.

As mentioned, 135-140 is average stock WHP so, 150 WHP untuned sound about right.

 

I'd puke if my B16 Crx didn't run a 14.9

this run was tuned by ED at balanced performance. he did not tune my cam gears.
took about an hour o r2




this was an open house, same setup, 3 runs. i kept increasing FPR pressure numbers kept going up. i know theres more but i need some time on the dyno to find it cam gears stil untuned

b16pinay has or shall I say had a strong b16. It was making 185whp @ 9k and still all stock internals. It also made 120tq. ran the 1/4 @13.8 on street tires. all that was changed was the ecu prgram and the cams. everything else was bolt-ons. time for a new and bigger motor....
