Oil Drain Location
Just checking to see if anyone has put the return fitting on the passenger side of the oil pan instead of the driver's side. It seems that it would keep it further away from the downpipe.
yes, ideally it's a great place, but there's isn't enough room to weld a -10AN weld on bung in there. If you just weld a tube, it works fine.
I am trying to see if I can make a weld on bung that is angled 45 degree, so it will be direct downward path and not too mention very short as well.

I am looking at different options also like directly porting back into the block. I just need to lift the car up to make some measurements. I have the Moroso pan and will probably be doing some custom work to it. I want the shortest possible length with it being as far away from the downpipe as possible. I am not sure why I so paraniod about it melting, but I just want to do everything to make it safe for everyday.
