ok guys i have one question! ok i have the d16z6 in the car and everything and i converted my car to obd1 but my question is on the z6 it has a sensor where the thermostat is like the housing but on the old d15 it has no sensor so im worried about it throwing any codes.....i did search for this but i couldnt find anything about it also i dont have everything put together yet.....i just need to know if it should matter and if it does that way i could wire it up??

 

i had the same thing on my ls block, but sorry i couldnt find the answer to if its needed or not

the Z6 has some kind of integrated sensor on the thermostat. i think it might be the coolant temperature sensor. did that plug, plug in somewhere? if it didnt theres your answer. if it did then you got a free bump

yea i know it didnt plug anywhere but im using a p28 ecu i should of said that but did u have a plug like that when u did an engine swap??
