I can't see that page but I think I know what it is. http://forum.e46fanatics.com/s...15589 is that the same story.

Yes I agree that going that fast is stupid and way to dangerous. I have done it in the past but don't drive like that any more. I have read too many stories like this one to know that no one is immortal and it is only a matter of time before it happens to you or someone you know.

that's about right
i dont know why people all jack up their mph... maybe they are going down the mountain... or they have fictionless body kits etc.... or maybe that's really what they are seeing on the speedo? i dont know...
but this is what i found from just gear ratios, rpm, slip, and tire diameter to back up what i'm saying

i have taken my SH to 149 and i still had room to go as in RPM wise but the freeway had a turn coming up and to be honest it didn't take that long, 140+ yea but not to get around 135.

I'm curious as to how you magically did that considering that mathematically you would have had to be way over the stock rev limit and the speedo doesn't read 149 for another thing and you had 'room to spare'

first off, yes it does read 149, it goes up to 150 on the speedo and since i do have a prelude 2 of em in fact, and 2nd u did read other ppl saying they took it to 145 right? so there for it is possible and dont talk to me about htat happening or not and that magic bull **** cuz why didn't u say nethign to them when they said they took it that far up and i was about at 7.0-7.3 rpm or a lil lower when i did that and not once i have done it many times and the last day i had my lic. i ran a GST on the freeway playing catch at about 142 at 6,700 rpm or so

I am a member on Bimmerforums and I have been on a few of the local Maryland drives. There always has to be a few morons who think they are going to impress us all by driving like idiots!! The last one I went to a moron in a VW GTi showed up and decided to drive like a typical teenaged kid.....luckily he only wrecked his car.

I have to pay high car insurance because of the typical immature male "kids" behind the wheel.
Keep it on the track.
