What's everybody's deal with the Vs. thing. I could see if their were 20 posts in row about something Vs. something else. If you know what it is going to say don't read it. It's just a freaking message board. Why would you even take the time to type a complaint which just makes you madder because you took 5 minutes to cry about it. If a topic is interesting and people are responding then let it go. It's not like we can physically hurt each other online. Com'on guys lets grow up a little.
Maybe I'd have at least an ounce of respect for you if you just came over to my origional post and answered it, instead of playing little forum website games. I did not post about you Only! I saw a bunch or" Vs."posts come and go in the past few weeks. I also notice just how busy this forum is and respect it's purpose which I guess you can't even begin to fathom.
If you have anything meaningful to say to the originator of the STOP the VS. post then I invite you over for a serious mature chat. If not just stop trying to feed your ego with fishing for anyone to follow you in your minor beliefs. I'm not mad or crying now but I do pity you for your lack of self esteem.
Good luck to you. With an attitude like yours, you're gonna need it!

I think there's a lot of inconsistencies when dealing with non-tech posts in this forum. I am by no means targeting anybody but here's a generic example. I see a post about someone getting a speeding ticket and it doesn't get moved. I posted an OT topic on the ITR forum recently about a bad experience one night in my ITR and it gets moved. I didn't mind it at all but I'm just wondering what criteria must be met for a topic to stay put? I myself don't mind the OT/non-tech posts as it keeps this forum interesting. If you look at H/A net, I find it kinda dull since not a lot of people post there. There's only so many tech questions one can think on a daily basis.
Point well stated CPR, and I tend to agree with you with the criteria opinion. This knucklehead is so delusional though, that he thinks I was targeting just him. He clearly must not have either read my post or maybe just didn't fully comprehend it. I have no intention of starting a war but, I for one Won't stand to see this forum turn out like SHO did about 6 months ago.
OT is OT just like fun is fun. But, maybe if we all did a little more self policing and excercised a bit more self constraint that what happened over there will not have to happen here too. Some OT is fun as Hell and keeps me amused for a good time but There is also a world out there where the ITR doesn't have to challenge or even think of challenging Every damn car on the road!
Vs. posts just get old after awhile. If you don't think so maybe it takes a bit less to entertain you and hold your attention. I'm sure this will all be locked up soon and if not I'll be surprised.

It is hard to have a set criteria because the ITR forum is more of a community than an ITR only board. There are a set number of people who only "live" here on this forum. So, if they have a story to post, they post it here as opposed to the kill forum, hybrid forum, etc. etc. because this is their "home". The only other forum I visit is competition. If I have a tech question, I don't go to tech, I go here because I like the people in this forum and feel at home. Basically, we do have to exercise judgement in posting and reading of posts. Forum wide censorship is rarely needed, just don't read the post. But, posts shouldn't get so out of hand that this board turns into SHO or HA.net
How about splitting the ITR board into ITR tech, ITR OT, ITR vs. world, ITR competition, etc...? No, I don't think I'm being serious. There are a lot of OT and semi-related but of no use to ITR owners posts (like Qs about 5 lug conversions). There are also a lot of people who come here instead of other forums for Qs about things that are the same between our cars. Hrm...

Delusional,Knucklehead, unable to comprehend, self constraint......what the freak! This is exactly what I am talking about. I just love when somebody try's to use all sorts of phlosphical reasons and big words to make a simple point about a simple fun topic. I wanted to ask other Type-R owners what their experiences were against a certain type of car. The Type-R forum seemed like the best place to do it.
